My name is Britney Gonsalves, and I am the proud owner of MommyFit, a group fitness class for moms and kids. I am a firefighter’s wife and mother of a 2-year-old son. My husband and I are high school sweethearts and have been together for 10 years now. I am now a stay at home mom, but I haven’t always been. I became a Certified Personal Trainer in 2005 straight out of high school. I trained at 24 Hour Fitness throughout college and have always had a love for exercise and nutrition. I graduated from Cal State San Bernardino with my Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing, became a Registered Nurse, and worked as a Mother-Baby Nurse for years. I have a true passion for helping people, and my favorite part of nursing is the connection you make with your patients. After my son was born in August of 2012, I worked per diem around my husband’s schedule so one of us would always be home. My husband and I decided that it was the right choice for our family for me to stay home full time, and I got a promotion to a Stay-at-Home Mom in October 2013. I could not be happier to be home with my son! Shortly after we relocated to Temecula, CA, I fell back on my personal training background, and started “MommyFit.” I now teach 5 days a week, just an hour a day, with my son in tow! MommyFit has allowed me to combine all of my passions: exercise, nutrition, and helping people all while having my son at my side. I get to be a working stay at home mom haha!! And I LOVE it!! I enjoy building friendships with other mommies in my community, and helping our community get healthy!
