Claire is CEO of Innovate Finance and an industry leader in financial services innovation and entrepreneurship. Innovate Finance is a new industry organisation dedicated to accelerating the next era of technology-led financial services innovators. Members include pre- revenue start-ups as well as international corporations across sub-sectors including IBM, Santander, Visa, Monitise, Transferwise, Currency Cloud, Coinfloor and many more. Innovate Finance is backed by the City of London Corporation, Canary Wharf Group, and championed by the UK Government. Claire founded and is now Chairman of Pivotal Innovations, a firm specialising in corporate innovation and accelerator programming in the Tech Sector. Claire also co-led the implementation of Level39, Europe’s largest Technology Accelerator for FinTech and Smart Cities companies in Canary Wharf. An Imperial College MBA alumna, Claire specialised in Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Design, and helped establish the business incubator for Virgin Unite, the ‘Branson Centre for Entrepreneurship’. She advised the Guardian Media Group on their 'Digital First' transformation strategy and helped implement their company-wide change programme. Claire founded, grew and sold (2009) ‘Aesthetic Earthworks’, a multi-million dollar sustainable architecture firm based in Toronto, Canada before moving to the UK. Claire is a ‘London Technology Ambassador’, part of Boris Johnson's new group of advisors within London & Partners and an active champion for Women in Tech and Tech London Advocates.
