Anne Eglash, MD, IBCLC, FABM is a practicing family physician at UW Health (Mt. Horeb), where she is the medical director of the outpatient lactation program and leads a teaching lactation clinic. A clinical professor in the Department of Family Medicine and a board certified lactation consultant, she is a co-founder of the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine, and the medical director and co-founder of Mother’s Milk Association of the Western Great Lakes. A member of the Breastfeeding Advisory Committee of the American Academy of Family Practice (AAFP), she has been involved in the organizing of the Breastfeeding Coalition of South Central Wisconsin. Dr. Eglash is co-developer of a breastfeeding triage curriculum for clinical nurses, and she was recently recognized with a Distinguished Service Award from the Breastfeeding Coalition of South Central Wisconsin (2013).
