Dr. Roger Kendall



Dr. Kendall has worked in the nutrition field for over 35 years and serves FoodScience Corp as their Vice President of Research and Development. He has been closely involved in the development of many animal and human nutritional products as well as overseeing the many research projects that the company has been involved with. He currently assists the CEO and the divisional managers in product development, quality control systems, and regulatory affairs.

Dr. Kendall received his undergraduate degree in Chemistry from the University of Vermont in 1965 and went on to obtain his PhD in Organic/Biochemistry in 1970 from Penn State University. He first joined FoodScience in 1978 after spending 5 years as a research chemist for the American Cyanamid company.

Dr. Kendall has also spent time in academia holding teaching and research positions at Ambassador University and the University of Bridgeport. His research interests include the study of natural immune modulators, antioxidants, and metabolic enhancers as they support improved immune function, joint health and overcoming degenerative disorders. He is considered to be the leading expert in the biochemistry and health applications of Dimethylglycine and Perna canaliculus (green-lipped mussel) having conducted research with these ingredients for a number of years. He has published many scientific articles in his field, received nine US and foreign patents and has authored a detailed book on his research experience with DMG entitled Building Wellness with DMG.
