Dr. Margaret Glenn

Margaret Glenn, EdD, CRC is an Associate Professor and Program Coordinator of Rehabilitation Counseling at West Virginia University. She is also co-founder of Morgantown Meditation and Counseling in Morgantown, WV. Margaret has married her innate curiosity about the world of work, love of helping people find their true purpose through work, and deep work in the areas of counseling, meditation, spirituality and energy work into a venture in career coaching.

Before graduating with a doctorate in counseling from The George Washington University, Margaret served as a vocational rehabilitation counselor and supervisor, specializing in working with people with substance use disorders. This started a 35 year path of exploring possibility for people who are looking for ways to express their unique talents.

She has also investigated the practices of Eastern and other indigenous cultures, became a Reiki master; a full mesa carrying shaman in the tradition of the Quero Indians with The Four Winds Society; studied Cognitively Based Compassion Training under the instruction of Geshe Lobang Tensin Negi, PhD.; and most recently certified as a Primordial Sound Meditation instructor, a technique rooted in the Vedic tradition of India, through the Chopra Center in California.

The combination of all of these experiences has led her to a place where she can support others in career and work decisions that will allow them to become deeper, more mature people in service to a healthy, happier future.
