Jeffrey Deskovic



Jeffrey Deskovic was falsely convicted and imprisoned for 16 years for the brutal rape and murder of his high school classmate. He recently won the largest exoneree settlement in U.S. history. After his release, he earned a B.S. in Behavioral Science, and then an M.A. from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. In 2012, he launched the Jeffrey Deskovic Foundation for Justice and donated $1.5 million from his compensation to get the Foundation off the ground.
