Michael Emanuel
Michael Emanuel trained through the Reiki Training Program to become a Washington State Registered Reiki Master in Usui Shiki Ryoho. He is also a Registered Reiki Master in Karuna Reiki through the International Center for Reiki Training and is a member of the International Association of Reiki Practitioners (IARP). Michael's path to Reiki was slow. As a professional engineer, turned marketing and business analyst, he kicked and screamed against the metaphysical aspects of Reiki until he realized the scientific explanations he was finding to explain Reiki another way were even less plausible than the ideas he was being invited to explore with his very patient Reiki teachers. In the end, he gave up resisting and decided to practice and teach Reiki instead. He brings that same rational spirit and thirst to explore non-consensus reality to his teaching.
