Princess Rema Bint Bandar Al Saud was born in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, but raised and educated in Washington, D.C. She received a Bachelor of Arts from Mount Vernon College of George Washington University. Princess Reema returned to her birthplace of Riyadh in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where she currently resides. She is the CEO of the luxury retail corporation Alfa International, which operates the Harvey Nichols luxury fashion multi-brand store in Riyadh. She served as the former CEO of luxury retail corporation Al Hama LLC, which for the past 15 years managed brands including Donna Karan and DKNY in the Middle East. Princess Reema serves as the Founder of private equity fund Reemiyah, Creative Director and Founder of luxury handbag and luggage brand Baraboux, Co-founder of Yibreen, a women’s day spa, and Contributing Editor of System Magazine. Princess Reema is the Founder of Alf Khair, a social enterprise whose aim is to create a Saudi Arabia where women and men form the greatest natural resource, with initiatives including a service excellence academy. She is the Co-founder of 10KSA, a world- record-breaking event raising awareness of and funding for breast cancer, taking place in Riyadh in October 2015, as well as a founding member of Zahra Breast Cancer Association. Princess Reema is a Patron of Arab Women’s Awards, Kingdom Saudi Arabia, since 2014. She is also an Advisory Board Member of Saudi National Creative Initiative, whose initiatives include provision of communication platforms for creative talent in the Kingdom. In addition, Princess Reema is Saudi Arabia’s Committee Expert and Mentor for the Advancement of Women’s Leadership, in the Middle East and North Africa, for Women’s Campaign International. Princess Reema was named a Foreign Policy Global Thinker Mogul in 2014. She was also Number 31 on Forbes Middle East 200 Most Powerful Arab Women in Family Business 2014 and Number 16 on Forbes Middle East 200
