Geoff Lawton

Geoff Lawton is an internationally renowned permaculture designer, teacher and consultant in over thirty five countries. His consultancy work includes Greening the Desert project of Masdar City, United Arab Emirates, rehydration strategies of Hadramaut and Yemen deserts and redesigning of an army ammunitions manufacturing plant as an eco industrial park for the US Army Corps of Engineers. He directed and rebuilt a village project for Kurds in Iraq using fifty three straw bale houses. He has produced thousands of active permaculture designs in all climates around the world. The UN, government agencies and aid organizations as well as development companies and individuals use his expertise on permaculture science design. Geoff has established a network of global education centers and demonstration sites linked by some of the largest permaculture websites in the world. Geoff established the Permaculture Research Institute and two websites to network mainframe information worldwide
