Don O'Melveny

Don O'Melveny

Don O'Melveny is a graduate of the USC School of Cinema. Two of his screenplays have been produced, Nightfighters and the HBO World Premier of Extramarital. His screenplay, Goodnight Marilyn, formally titled No City for Dreaming, was previously optioned by HBO, however the network ultimately chose to produce a less controversial documentary piece, Norma Jean and Marilyn starring Ashley Judd and Mira Sorvino.

His book No City for Dreaming was released last year to commemorate the 50th anniversary of her death, reaching the Top Ten weekly ranking for Mystery/Thrillers on Amazon. O’Melveny works extensively in the modern and contemporary art world, recently creating the special TRIBUTE for Marilyn Monroe with award winning artists nationwide.

As to why I am interested in the Marilyn case:

"Marilyn is one of the most fascinating stars of all time and the mystery surrounding her death still haunts many of us today, me included."
