Erika Wojkiewicz was raised in Toledo, OH & began her dance training at Daryl Jervis Dance Studios where she competed in many dance competitions, earned scholarships to EDGE Performing Arts Center, Broadway Dance Center and Alvin Ailey, and performed internationally. She continued her dance education at Point Park University studying modern, ballet & jazz in the Conservatory of Performing Arts and finished her dual degree at the Ohio State University earning both a BFA in dance and a BA in journalism. Since college she has signed with Clear Talent Group in New York City and has performed as a back up dancer for Soulja Boy, Q-Tip, Kevin Rudolph and Kat De Luna, is featured in Chris Cornell’s “Part of Me” music video feat. Method Man and Timbaland, is in commercials for Edge Shave Gel, Lucille Roberts, HYDRIVE Energy, American Airlines feat. Kevin Spacey, choreographed and starred in Nivea deodorant’s “Smooth Move” commercial, choreographed Kidz Bop’s “Fire Burning” music video, has done industrials and modeling for NIKE, NIKETOWN and Capezio, can be seen in “Teen Vogue” “Seventeen” and “Cosmo Girl,” in NIKE print ads, has been on the Today Show, Live with Regis and Kelly, QVC for Hip Hop Abs, The Jimmy Fallon Show, the Artists Showcase at Alvin Ailey, was a top 40 finalist on So You Think You Can Dance, danced for Beyonce in her 2009 VMA performance and appeared in the NBA’s 2009 Christmas Day commercial featuring Mariah Carey. While in New York, she was also a Knicks City Dancer and taught at the popular Physique 57, a ballet-barre inspired workout. Since moving home to Toledo, she served as the Director of Dance at St. Ursula Academy and obtained her STOTT Pilates mat certification. Currently, she teaches Pilates and dance at Company C Dance Club!
