Brad Wheelis
Brad Wheelis is the author of a hot new book, The Perception Myth: A Guide to Challenging Your Personal Myths and Discovering Your Inner Greatness. A former correspondent for ABC News, Brad's political coverage earned him the prestigious national Edward R. Murrow award. Brad grew up believing he was damaged goods. He had severe eye problems and suffered from a deformed chest (pectus excavatum). He ultimately overcame the body image issues and thrived on TV, an environment where people are especially judged on appearance. Since then, Brad has created a non-profit called The Pectus Excavatum Foundation to help raise awareness and decrease stigma.
