Althea Ledford
Althea Ledford is has just launched a new magazine called “E” The Magazine for Today’s Female Executive. Althea understands the layers of complexity within a woman’s life on a daily basis. As Editor and Chief Creative Officer, she designed “E” to: (a) bring relevant topics and resources to women who make up 46.9% of the population and (b) help grow the National Association of Female Executives (NAFE), -especially since women are founding businesses at a rate of 1.5 times the national average. Althea is also the Director of NAFE Los Angeles. With over 2 million working women in the Los Angeles Area, her goal is to grow, promote and support female executives throughout the Los Angeles area and promote the NAFE network nationwide. Althea Ledford is also the author of The Playground Dynamic and six other books including 10 Minute Hero. She is also the founder of The GateBook Company, a publishing and social media company. Althea holds over 20 years of experience in financial markets, business development and technology startups. She’s interviewed hundreds of small business owners, families, innovators and entrepreneurs. She has a Masters in Management of Information Science from Claremont Graduate University, SISAT School of Information Systems and Technology and an MBA from The Drucker Graduate School of Management.
