Normandi Ellis

Normandi Ellis’s books on Egyptian myth, ritual and magic include Imagining the World into Existence, Invoking the Scribes, Feasts of Light, and Dreams of Isis. Her book Awakening Osiris is considered a spiritual classic. She has received writing and arts activist fellowships from the Kentucky Foundation for Women for her work in the environment with elder women and youth at risk. An arch-priestess of the Fellowship of Isis, she facilitates a hermetic mystery school and leads trips to Egypt. The December trip is full and the next available trip will be May 2016. Nicki Scully and Normandi’s new book The Union of Isis and Thoth: Initiatory Practices in Ancient Egypt is the culmination of her 20 years of work with Nicki Scully in the Egyptian Mysteries. Her recent poetry, Words on Water, is an erotic love story and conversation between the human and divine realms.
