Gerry Brown is Senior Analyst in the Customer Engagement practice at leading tech analyst group, Ovum. Gerry helps business leaders to digitally transform their business and marketing operations. His knowledge and skills include digital marketing strategy, digital transformation, customer experience and journeys, digital channels, marketing planning, content and data management, performance marketing, cross-channel customer communications, analytics and personalisation, online advertising, social and mobile marketing, and marketing resource management. Previously Gerry was an analyst for Bloor Research and a lecturer for the UK’s Chartered Institute of Marketing on their MA-level qualification in strategic marketing. Gerry was also Marketing Director at Hyperion and Microstrategy and co-founded three research and consulting agencies. Gerry has a Business Studies degree from Sheffield Hallam University, and a post-graduate diploma in Marketing from the University of West London.
