Elia Petridis, CEO of Filmatics www.gofilmatics.com Received a BA in Critical Studies and MFA in Film/Television Production from USC School of Cinematic Arts. He started his career interning at United Artists and as a USC editing instructor. He then transitioned to the International marketplace as Director Of Acquisitions for Middle Eastern distributor Prime Pictures. His thesis film HOW HENRI CAME TO STAY won the Audience Award at the Beijing International Film Festival. His feature film debut THE MAN WHO SHOOK THE HAND OF VICENTE FERNANDEZ starred Academy Award winner and Hollywood legend Ernest Borgnine in his final film. He wrote OLVIDADOS based on the events of Operation Condor in the 1970s which served as the gala premier for the 2015 San Diego Film Festival and screened at Cannes 2015. He recently worked as writer and director with Uber and McLaren for branding content, and is starting a Virtual Reality project. He divides time between Los Angeles, London, and Dubai.
