Lisa Allen
Lisa Allen is the owner of Papa’s New Orleans Style SnoBalls in Haslet, Texas. She is a native of New Orleans and has been a DFW resident for the past 17 years. While in New Orleans, she worked for her family’s business as a bookkeeper. One of her favorite things during the summer was to get a Snoball at the local stand. After moving to Texas in 1997, she never could find a really good SnoBall. She requested information on starting her own SnoBall Stand. In 2009, they decided this would be the time to start into a new adventure. They purchased a new trailer completely set up to be a SnoBall Stand and started off working weekends at local Trade Days and Festivals. Lisa decided to quit her job and find a permanent location in Haslet to sell her SnoBalls. It has been a success and her customers look forward to seeing her each summer.
