Frerick D. Sancilio, MS, PhD
Dr. Fred Sancilio is a seasoned research scientist. Having been born and raised in Hoboken, NJ, he attended Rutgers University, where he received his Ph.D. During his time there he worked as a laboratory technician, and after graduation went on to work for Hoffman-LaRoache and Burroughs-Wellcome Company, two major research-based pharmaceutical firms. After a decade with these companies, Dr. Sancilio went on to found his own pharmaceutical research firm, aaiPharma, as well as founding Sancilio & Company, a biopharmaceutical company in Florida. Today, he has published more than twenty articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals, holds fourteen domestic and international patents, and contributed to the development of more than one thousand drugs marketed in the United States, Europe, and Asia. Dr. Sancilio currently resides in Jupiter, FL with his wife Alex.
