Vice Chancellor, University of Pittsburgh
Rebecca serves as Vice Chancellor for Economic Partnerships and is responsible for cultivating and developing public and private partnerships that advance the University of Pittsburgh's regional and national economic impact. Her responsibilities include serving as a liaison with local and national leaders in government, business and various communities on matters pertaining to economic development initiatives. Rebecca was formerly the President/CEO of NorTech, a Cleveland technology-focused organization whose primary focus was to contribute to the strengthening of Northeast Ohio's economic vitality by accelerating the pace of innovation in the region. Prior to joining NorTech, Rebecca served as Deputy Secretary for the Technology Investment Office of the PA Department of Community and Economic Development. Rebecca also has investment banking experience where she advised energy and technology companies on mergers and acquisitions.
