Kari Galloway
Kari Galloway is the Executive Director of Friends of Guest House, an organization that supports formerly incarcerated women and their families during their transition. Under her guidance, the organization has increased the Residential Program capacity from 9 beds to 17 beds, transformed the Aftercare Program, added the ever-growing Outreach Program and created a Speakers Bureau. Locally, she is a founding member of the steering committee for the Alexandria Re-entry Council, participates on the Governing Board of the Alexandria Partnership to Prevent and End Homelessness and serves on the Executive Committee of the Alexandria Coalition of Human Service Organizations. From June 2010 to June 2012, she chaired a committee of the statewide Virginia Prisoner and Juvenile Re-Entry Council. Galloway has been honored by the Alexandria Volunteer Bureau (2011) and Alexandria Commission for Women (2011)
