Christina Marlett

Christina Marlett believes that the human body is made to move. She is deeply passionate about incorporating meaningful movement into all types of learning. Her official credentials are a Bachelors of Kinesiology and Bachelors of Education from the University of Calgary. She taught in the school system for 3 years before having her kids. Once she started her family, Christina discovered entrepreneurship and the fulfillment of personal development. In the past 9 years, she learned that the only career she would love would be one she could design herself. After training as an Embodiment Coach on the beaches of Mexico, the lavender farms of California and in the rainforests of BC, she created her business Dance Ugly Dance Awkward. Christina loves helping people become the best version of themselves by asking great questions and then moving their bodies to find the answers. These days, you’ll find her speaking, teaching, coaching and facilitating all over North America.
