Sara Kaljuvee

Sara Kaljuvee graduated from Pickering High School in Ajax, Ontario and went on to win the 2012 CIS women’s rugby championship with the St. Francis Xavier X-Women. Sara caught the eye of Canadian sevens coaches with her strong play in fifteens, where she was a member of the team that won the 2013 U-20 Nations Cup. After moving out west to join Canada’s centralized program in 2013, Sara was named to the roster for Canada’s opening leg of the 2013-14 Women’s Sevens World Series in Dubai. After suffering an injury, she did not join the team again until the fourth and fifth rounds in Guangzhou and Amsterdam. Sara was on Canada’s gold-medal winning team at the 2014 FISU Women’s Sevens Championship.
