Adam Rubin
Adam Rubin is the Executive Director of RENEW, an organization he co-founded with Uswege Mwakapango in Tanzania in 2013 to give young people the skills and opportunities they need to transform themselves and transform their communities. RENEW provides young people with powerful personal growth and leadership training to inspire, empower, and enable them to positively impact their communities. RENEW holds workshops with students that cover topics such as Goals and Dreams, Decision Making, Emotional Intelligence and Communication Skills. Students then create their own service project to address a problem in their community. RENEW has reached over 700 students at 4 different schools in Tanzania and is now bringing the leadership program to Arizona, having just completed a pilot project in Phoenix - a week long workshop with foster youth. Adam is currently completing a Master of Nonprofit Leadership and Management at Arizona State University, and has a BA in Political Science from U of A.
