Danny Woodley


Danny Woodley was born in 1969 in Nyeri/Kenya. His father Bill Woodley was one of the pioneers of Kenya’s National Parks in Kenya and one of the first Game Wardens of Tsavo and Mount Kenya. At the age of 15 Danny was already helping in the parks, from the Rhino Rescue Programme, and building of the Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary. 1987 found him in Somalia and Djibouti and the East African and Arabian Air Surveys & Services. Running logistics and ground-support for aerial surveys to Botswana bird and game capture. Armed with pilots license, Danny flew transports, anti-poaching operations and development projects in coordination with the British Army in Tsavo West. From special operations in the Northern Frontier District to the GSU training of the new KWS rangers, followed by the appointment as Company Commander of security within Tsavo East Nat. Park, to KWS Sr. Warden of Tsavo West. Danny now consults for a variety of public and private networks continuing conservation on the ground in Tsavo
