Marco Coleman


Coleman honed his football skills at Patterson Cooperative High School in Dayton, Ohio, where he was an all-area linebacker. He amassed an impressive totaled 84 tackles, 31 sacks and three forced fumbles in his Senior season. Coleman accepted a scholarship to Georgia Tech where he flourished on the gridiron, earning All-Atlantic Coast Conference honors after recording 67 tackles, 10 sacks, while only appearing in 11 his junior season. Despite having a career that spanned only three years with the Jackets, Coleman finished career as the all-time leader with a record 28 sacks. Coleman rewarded the Miami Dolphins who selected him in the first round (12th pick) of the 1992 NFL Draft, by being named the NFL Rookie of the Year. Coleman went on to enjoy a 14 year NFL career, that was capped off with a 1999 Pro Bowl selection.
