Adriana Gonzalez is CEO of Camara de Empresarios Latinos de Houston (CELH), a non for profit organization that is focused on education and devoted to the growth and development of the Hispanic businesses. CEHL’s mission is to help grow and support business and its members through education. Adriana was born in Uruguay and moved to the US in 1980. Having started working in the hospitality industry, since the beginning she started thinking of having her own business and becoming an independent entrepreneur. As a result, she and her husband Martin founded One Way Striping and Signs, LLC in 2000, a company that started with the installation of traffic signs and products and has developed into manufacturing as well. As President and CEO of CELH she has helped the Chamber grow and expand its membership, develop new programs for women and minority, always focusing on helping the community, and launch its educational area, starting internships for foreign students and has developed one of the most interesting concepts for letting Hispanics learn about managerial concepts through an affiliation with the Houston Community College.
