Charles G. Brown J.D.

Charles G. Brown is national counsel for Consumers for Dental Choice, www.toxicteeth-free.org, and an attorney experienced in health, antitrust, and administrative law. Charlie Brown was twice elected Attorney General of West Virginia, a graduate of Yale Law School. Charlie leads the U.S. and the world campaigns to end the use of mercury-based dental fillings, due to their adverse health, environmental, and occupational effects. He has brought mercury-free dentistry into the mainstream by challenging the three main forces protecting toxins in the mouth: state dental boards, the American Dental Association, and the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA). His legal work caused state dental boards to abandon their tyrannical gag rule, which had compelled silence by dentists about the presence of mercury in amalgam. Charlie, under the banner of the World Alliance for Mercury-Free Dentistry, launched a worldwide campaign to implement mercury-free dentistry. He has been to 21 nations.
