Penny Kruger

Penny Kruger, Licensed Social Worker, completed her Masters in Social Work from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. She has been practicing clinical social work for 20 years at all levels of clinical care. Penny has worked with a variety of special clinical populations, including eating disorders, sexual trauma and sexual compulsivity, domestic violence offender treatment, emotional dysregulation and impulsive behavior patterns, and borderline personality disorder. She was intensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy in 2006 when she started the first Dialectical Behavior Therapy Intensive Outpatient Program in Austin, Texas at Seton Behavioral Health. She is currently the Clinical Director of the Dialectical Behavior Therapy Intensive Outpatient Program, and she has a private practice with DBT Associates of Austin. She currently provides training and supervision for clinicians to learn and adapt dialectical behavior therapy in their current treatment settings.
