Dr. Elizabeth Fong
Dr. Elizabeth Fong is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with over 16 years experience. She is currently in private practice in Fairfax, Virginia. She specializes in play therapy, couples therapy, and family therapy. She also enjoys working with gifted learners. She founded ELITE Counseling & Consulting, LLC in 2009 from her strength-based approach to helping clients deal with life’s challenges. The acronym stands for Empathy, Limits, Interests, Time, and Energy. In her work with children and families, she aims to provide a trusting, supportive, safe, respectful, fun, and relaxing counseling environment. Both Dr. Fong’s educational and professional background in Child Development, Family Psychology, and Play Therapy, and her personal experience as a wife (21 years and counting) and as a mother to four children influence her as she offers integrated, client-focused, and practical interventions.
