Dr. Judy White
Dr. Judy D. White is the Superintendent for Moreno Valley Unified School District, with 3,400 employees and over 34,000 students. She has over 36 years of experience in education and embraces a united effort of “Excellence on Purpose.” Since her appointment in February 2011, Dr. White has instituted many new programs to involve the community and support student achievement, including a district Reading Festival, an “Adopt a School” program for local businesses; an “Excellence on Purpose” Educational Foundation, “Help Me Graduate” hotline and webpage, opened a Parent Resource Center. Dr. White is the recipient of numerous awards, the 2014 Citizen of the Year for the Moreno Valley Chamber of Commerce and the 2013 Woman of the Year for Moreno Valley. Dr. White has become known as an inspirational advocate for all students and has made a name for herself in the community for reaching out, embracing change for the better, and holding the district accountable for student success.
