William B Eimicke, PhD
William B. Eimicke, Ph.D., is a professor of practice in international and public affairs and the founding director of the Picker Center for Executive Education at Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs. Dr. Eimicke has directed major executive training programs through the Picker Center, including those for Hong Kong civil service leaders, Malaysian policymakers, Northern Ireland community builders, and executive managers in Guangdong. His former roles include NYC Deputy Fire Commissioner for Strategic Planning and Policy, NYS Commissioner of Housing, and Director of Fiscal Studies for the NYS Finance Committee. He served on the transition teams for NYS Attorney General-elect Andrew Cuomo and NYC Mayor-elect Giuliani, and is a key economic development advisor to NYS Governor Andrew Cuomo. With a Ph.D. in Public Administration, Dr. Eimicke has taught in Singapore, Beijing, and Shanghai. He received the Columbia University President’s Global Innovation award.
