Reuben Vaisman-Tzachor

Reuben Vaisman-Tzachor, Ph.D., a licensed clinical and forensic psychologist, is the director & owner of the Counseling Center of Santa Monica, CA & attending psychologist at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. A graduate of the Israeli Naval Officers Academy & Officers School for Command, he was assigned to military counterterrorism operations in the Mediterranean. He then served with the Israeli Government Terrorism Prevention Agency as a supervisor in charge of operations for the US, Mexico, and Western Canada. Dr. Vaisman is an expert in evaluating the psychological profiles of terrorists as well as those who are facing deportation through US federal immigration courts. Following 9-11, Dr. Vaisman was recruited to develop a national counter-terrorism strategy for the Bush Administration. This information ultimately was included in the official FBI Academy curriculum. He authored a book based on this experiences and knowledge on terrorism in 2012 titled The Book of Terror
