Vicente has a B.A. in Accounting and Finance from ITAM, an MBA from IPADE, and a M.A. in Executive Coaching from IESE.
He has gained over more than 20 years of experience in microfinance as founder and CEO of Fincomun, one of México´s leading MFI´s.
In 2012 Vicente founded Kubo Financiero, an Endeavor, and Wayra supported technology scale-up that creates online financial communities that link creditworthy borrowers with savvy investors. Kubo is positioned as the first regulated peer-to-peer (P2P) lending platform in Latin America.
Vicente aims to disrupt the microfinance sector by significantly reducing the interest rates charged to microentrepreneurs and by creating a new asset class for retail investors seeking higher returns.
Vicente is a founding member of two critical organizations for the Microfinance sector in Mexico, ProDesarrollo and AMSOFIPO, and is a Board Member of the National Credit Burreau, and the National Bank for Savings and Financial Services (BANSEFI).
