Joe Tomsick is the Chief Executive Officer of the Lake County Council on Aging. He has served in this position since 2012. Joe has worked as one of the most active advocates of Lake County’s aging population, helping to strengthen the Council on Aging’s partnerships within the community, with local agencies, and elected officials by focusing on the needs of the most vulnerable residents of Lake County.

Prior to being named CEO, Joe was with the Geauga County Department on Aging, where he served as Senior Centers Manager and oversaw all operations of Geauga County’s five Senior Centers. Joe has a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from John Carroll University, is a current and past member of numerous boards including the Community Services and Supports committee of the Western Reserve Area Agency on Aging, and the Association of Specialists in Aging of Lake County. Joe is also host of a local, weekly radio show, “Our Aging World.”
