Currently located in Chicago, Cynthia is VEDC’s Program Manager for the Chicagoland Business Opportunity Fund that provides small business loans from $50,000-$250,000 to existing businesses that cannot qualify for a traditional bank loan. To date, over $5 Million in loans have been funded to local Chicago businesses. The Chicagoland Business Opportunity Fund is operated by VEDC which is the largest Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) non-profit in the Los Angeles area which supports small business owners with their financial needs and helps them grow their business to create and sustain jobs.
