Chip Rose is recognized internationally as an innovator and expert in the field of mediation and collaborative conflict resolution. He has been teaching workshops in basic and advanced client-centered dispute resolution for many years. Chip’s published chapters include “Mediating Financial Issues” in “Divorce and Family Mediation: Models, Techniques and Applications” edited by Jay Folberg; “Divorce Mediation and Collaborative Practice,” in “Narrative Mediation: A New Approach to Conflict Resolution,” edited by John Winslade and Gerald Monk; and “Psychology and Divorce” in “The Financial Handbook of Divorce,” edited by Crumbley and Apostolou. Currently the President of the Academy of Professional Family Mediators, Chip maintains a private mediation practice in Santa Cruz, CA. He received the first Eureka Award from CP Cal for his work in support of Collaborative Practice and a lifetime achievement award from the New York State Council on Divorce Mediation.
