Rogerlyn Velez-Cipriano Esq
Rogerlyn Velez-Cipriano Esq. is the founder and CEO of Angels For Warriors, She is a lawyer, having been admitted to practice in 1993 and is an adjunct professor at Molloy College. Rogerlyn founded Angels for Warriors in late 2012, after her Brother Sgt. Angel Velez was severely injured in Afghanistan. AFW is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that provides guidance and advocacy to veterans. Recently, AFW’s primary focus has been in providing pro-bono legal assistance to veterans. Rogerlyn’s efforts have been recognized by both State and Local entities. She was named one of Huntington’s person’s of the year in 2013. She was recognized by Congressman Steve Israel, Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone, New York Assembly, New York Legislature, and the Dept. of Veteran’s affairs for her support and work of our Veterans.
