Jesse Podell
Jesse is Managing Director for Startupbootcamp FinTech New York. He is responsible for all aspects of the program including startup outreach and working with its excellent partners.
A lifetime New Yorker, Jesse spent twelve years in trading and business development roles at financial insitutions such as Jefferies, KCG and Susquehanna. In 2012 he entered the NYC fintech startup scene and has never looked back.
Jesse co-founded TechDay, a large scale event and online community. Since its inception. TechDay has grown from a small crowd of 500 people to a community of tens of thousands in multiple markets worldwide. TechDay's diverse events have helped more than a thousand startups in connecting with members of the press, investors, technologists & early adopters. He was also a founder of DevShop, a ruby on rails development agency that was sold to DevWorks Lab.
Jesse was also a co-organizer for NY Fintech Startups, which is the largest fintech meetup in the country.
