First Lady S.L Garrett
In her youth, First Lady S.L. Garrett recognized and accepted God’s call upon her life. The pursuit of her desire to minister and teach the “things of God” began in the Midwest as a Sunday school teacher. The notion of a woman teaching, preaching, and speaking to the masses was a novelty during the period Mrs. Garrett realized God’s purpose for her life. First Lady has been called upon to speak at leadership conferences, church retreats, barn gatherings, banquets, rallies, and retirement centers. She can be described as a very dynamic, enthusiastic, energetic and powerful speaker and wise counselor. First Lady is the lovely wife of Bishop W.A. Garrett for the last 45 years. In submission to and under the authority and leadership of her Pastor, Bishop Garrett, Mrs. Garrett assists her husband in pastoring The Way, The Church in Inglewood, California.
