Tanner Gers

Tanner Gers

Tanner Gers was an All-American kid growing up, excelling in school, sports and volunteering with various non-profit organizations. On March 28, 2004, Tanner was in a traumatic auto accident, where a tree shot through his windshield and impaled him in the face. While emergency services wrote Tanner off, he fought over 75 minutes and made it to the hospital. Suffering a traumatic brain injury, fracturing his spinal cord, shattering his face with a massive hole in his skull, Tanner miraculously survived. His situation worsened when 19 days after his accident, he woke up from a surgery totally blind. His story of triumph will be shared today.
