Amy Joy Smith, NP
Amy Joy Smith is a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Functional Medicine. She working currently at Pacific Frontier Medical, Inc, a progressive, integrative medical practice in Redwood City, California. While Amy is a renowned pioneer in the understanding and treatment of PANDAS and PANS, her work is more extensive than that and includes decades of work with people with complex, chronic illness and immune disruption. She is also a clinical nutritionist and the mother of an amazing child with PANDAS. Amy serves on the PANDASNetwork.org Board of Directors and was the lead organizer of the West Coast PANDAS/PANS Parent Symposium in 2012 and 2014. She has spoken at a number of medical conferences and training programs around the country. She also has a Master's Degree in Adolescent Health with a focus on youth Development and community health from the University of Minnesota.
