Ahsiya Posner Mencin, Ph.D

Ahsiya Posner Mencin, Ph.D. is Co-Founder and Director of the PULSE Volunteer Partnership at GSK. She worked in international development, corporate social responsibility, leadership development and organizational change for over 15 years in the public and private sectors, and at grassroots and policy levels. She joined GSK in 2006 in the R&D Strategy Office, and then designed and launched the PULSE Volunteer Partnership in 2009, motivated by the opportunity to bridge public and private sectors towards achieving positive sustainable change, especially in the health and education arenas. Ahsiya received her doctorate in International Relations from The Fletcher School at Tufts University. She worked for various NGOs in the US, Africa and the Middle East, and also taught at the high school and university levels, before pivoting to the private sector.
