I come from a long line of both fine home cooks and professional chefs, my family having owned several restaurants during my childhood, and I learned to cook in a professional kitchen at around the age of five or six. In addition to being a culinary instructor, I also have an extensive travel management background and have taught both yoga and an Ayurveda approach to eating in a college setting several years ago. I am a Texas Master Gardener and the in-house chef for Williams-Sonoma Town & Country. I have been married to my husband, Mike, an engineer, for 24 years, and we have two children, a daughter, Autumn, who is 23, and a son, John, who is 17. We live in the Memorial area.
