Catina and her husband Scott have been married nearly 22 years. They have four fantastic children. Their oldest , Adam, developed autism shortly after his first birthday. Catina has strived to maintain balance among her children, while seeking out and implementing the most promising interventions for Adam. After implementing a home-based ABA program for Adam for eight years, Catina shifted his intervention to Relationship Development Intervention (RDI). Utilizing RDI, Adam has made incredible gains in his desire and ability to interact, communicate and contribute in meaningful ways. In addition to raising her family, Catina spent several as the marketing director for a “Big 4” Public Accounting firm. She served the Las Vegas chapter of Families for Effective Autism Treatment (FEAT) in many capacities, including Communications Director, Training Director and President. She co-founded an RDI school in Las Vegas and thrives on providing support to any family caring for a child with autism.
