Dan Salas is President and CEO of Harbor Breeze Cruises in Long Beach and Los Angeles Waterfront Cruises & Sportfishing in San Pedro.
Dan’s love of the ocean began at a young age. He started working at the San Pedro docks as a 12-year-old. Dan earned his Captain's license at the age of 18. After years of working for others, Dan decided to set out on his own. He bought his first touring boat in 1994, and in 2000, expanded operations to Long Beach's Rainbow Harbor.
Mr. Salas has worked tirelessly on perfecting his waterway tour business. Today, with a fleet of seven boats, including two multi-million-dollar custom-built catamarans with a third on its way in May, Harbor Breeze Cruises offers more whale watching tours than any other company in the area. In April 2015, LA Waterfront Cruises & Sportfishing was founded in San Pedro. Dan shares his love of the ocean through his business, and he is living his dream.
