I had a corporate life. For years I had a double life. I worked 40-60 hours a week consulting and doing complex project management while pursuing my dream of owning my own company. I wanted to control my own life. It was never easy and in fact it's harder now than ever. The larger we get the more pressure I feel to succeed. It reminds me a lot of every boss I ever had...what have you done today? This is the question I ask myself about MY EFFORTS! It's a crazy relentless pursuit of business. It's this on going desire to succeed where SO MANY FAIL. Today my own company is going strong and we are profitable but that wasn't always the case. I'm constantly reminded of the cliche, reduce costs and sell more. It's funny how volume covers lots of mistakes. The key is to manufacture in a way that is efficient all the time so you can experience the profit windfalls that come from time to time. Nothing happens without a dream.....DREAM BIG!
