Paul Axtell has over 35 years of experience as a personal effectiveness consultant and trainer. He designs and leads programs that enhance individual and group performance within large organizations, including Fortune 500 companies, universities, nonprofit organizations and government agencies.
He is the author of both Meetings Matter: 8 Powerful Strategies for Remarkable Conversations (http://paulaxtell.com/books/) and the award-winning Ten Powerful Things to Say to Your Kids: Creating the Relationship You Want with the Most Important People in Your Life. The latter applies the concepts of his work to the relationship between parents and children. Thus far, it has been translated into Korean, Vietnamese, Chinese, Arabic, French, and Spanish.
Paul has an engineering degree from South Dakota School of Mines and an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis. Paul lives with his wife, Cindy, in Minneapolis.
