Dr. James Hollis


James Hollis, Ph. D., is a Jungian analyst in private practice in Washington, D. C. where he is also Executive Director of the Jung Society of Washington. He is the author of fourteen books, among which are: Finding Meaning in the Second Half of Life, What Matters Most: Living a More Considered Life, and Hauntings: Dispelling the Ghosts Who Run Our Lives. His early professional life was spent at various universities as a Professor of Humanities. At mid-life he retrained in analytic psychology in Zurich, Switzerland and has retained both a private practice and academic posts since. He lives with his wife Jill, a retired therapist and artist, in the District of Columbia.
