As the owner and lead therapist of Southlake Christian Counseling, Shannon Thomas’s s greatest desire is that her clients find a place where they can feel comfortable to talk about anything and everything that is going on in their lives. She works with a variety of therapy and life coaching topics and focuses on individual growth and improving interpersonal relationships. Those relationships can be marital, dating, families, friendships, or the workplace. She began working with families in 2000, started in private practice counseling in 2007, and opened Southlake Christian Counseling in 2009. Shannon has a Bachelors degree in Legal Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz and received her Master of Social Work degree from San Jose State University. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Supervisor for post-graduate interns working towards their LCSW licensure. She is also a Field Instructor within the Master of Social Work program at Texas Christian University.
