Sharon St. Pierre has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for 10 years. She got her master's in social work from the University of Southern California. Her experience includes working with individual adults and children as well as couples and families struggling with different mental health disorders. For the last 7 years she has co-lead group workshops for Latino preteen girls and boys focusing on self-esteem, character building and goal setting. These workshops aim to motivate students to reach their higher educational goals. She works as the part time Clinical Supervisor for the Counseling Department of Catholic Charities of Orange County overseeing the office and training counseling interns. She also has a small private practice and serves as a consultant for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles under the Office of Life, Justice and Peace developing the Merciful Companion Ministry. This ministry trains peer counselors to assist men and women impacted by abortion.
